shortening
1 cup
brown sugar
14 cup
dark molasses
1
egg
2 tsp
baking soda
2 14 cups
all-purpose flour
1 tsp
Sea Salt
1 tbsp
Gingerbread Spices
1 cup
granulated sugar

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
  2. Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses, mix thoroughly, then add egg and mix again.
  3. Sift next 4 ingredients. Add to creamed mixture.
  4. Form cookies into 34" balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place on Sheet Pan lined with Sheet Pan Liner. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon. Bake for 10 minutes.
